 Club Long Island reviewed Mike Manne and the Tiger Blues Band at Reunions
in Sports Plus where the band performs a variety of well know classic blues
songs and incorporates their own styles and licks into the music. Inspired by
many different blues artist including Buddy Guy, BB King, and Otis Rush, the
Tiger Blues Band sets out to bring the raw classic blues across Long Island.
After
checking out their CD "Purveyor", it was decided that this is band that can
be enjoyed live. From Mike's stern picture on the cover, I thought that maybe
I should hire some bodyguards to take with me. It turns out that Mike and the
gang have a lot of fun on stage and enjoy what they do as well as interact with
the audience and even take requests.
