 Headlining
at The Downtown in Farmingdale this month was Live Wire, an ACDC
Tribute Band touring the island bringing the raw power of ACDC and a taste of
the 80's to Long Island Rock-N-Rollers. Tribute bands sometimes have a difficult
time trying to please their audiences since there is always the comparison to
the actual band. When you come across a band like Live Wire that produces
a energetic show that compliments the artist, you really have to appreciate
them.
Live Wire hit the stage about midnight after their
two opening acts performing well known songs such as Back in Black, Hells Bells,
Dirty Deeds and many more. The band put on a powerful show from beginning to
end with full attention of the Downtown crown and girls dancing in front of
the stage.
